멜번 TAFE 목록

호주에서 고등학교를 졸업하고 대학을 가는 사람은 10% 정도인 거 같습니다. 결국 호주의 대부분의 고등학교 졸업생들은  TAFE 이라는 곳에서 다음 단계 교육을 받습니다. 학생증도 발급되고 학생으로서의 할인혜택도 받을 수 있습니다. 

영주권자라면 TAFE에서 저렴한 가격으로 교육을 받을 수 있습니다.  고등학교 졸업생이 아니더라도 직업을 바꾸고 싶은 어른들이나 갓 입국한 이민자들도 TAFE에서 많이 공부하고 있습니다. 이 TAFE은 한국의 전문대와 비슷하다고 보면 됩니다. 대학에서 가르치는 거의 모든 학과가 다 있는 거 같습니다. 너무 학과가 많아서 뭐가 뭔지 모를 지경이니까요.

멜번에는 다양한 TAFE 교육 기관들이 있는데 대부분이 시티에 있습니다.   동부에 있는 곳으로서 한국인들이 주로 이용하는 곳으로서 박스힐 TAFE과 홈스글렌 TAFE 입니다. 홈스글렌 TAFE는 채드스톤캠퍼스, 웨이버리캠퍼스, 무라빈캠퍼스으로 나눠져 있습니다.
